Mr Andrew once had ambitions to become a TV presenter and was being considered to present Gladiators but John Fashanu was selected instead.
He once made an appearance on the BBC programme A Question Of Sport in the "What Happened Next?" round.
A clip showed him playing a table tennis match for England when disaster struck as he back-pedalled to make a shot, lost his balance and crashed into the umpire's table, sending a jug of water flying. His former table tennis partner Nick Mason said: "I have known Sky for about 23 years now.
"We have always been close and he has always been very determined. He is not a person who gets shy and he can meet anyone and hold his own.
"He is very good in an argument and knows how to get his point across. He is very professional, very determined and if he sets his mind to something he is going to get his way. He has done a great job for Sol and I'm sure he is grateful."
Originally Mr Andrew handled TV celebrities such as Martine McCutcheon but they parted a year before she left EastEnders.
Mr Andrew lives alone after splitting from his long-term girlfriend just over nine months ago.
He owns a house near his management offices in South Woodford and also represents Arsenal youngster Jermaine Pennant.
Mr Andrew, like Campbell, is an extremely private man and rarely goes on the record.
