Adam to miss start of season

Adam Hollioake is unlikely to captain Surrey again until the first half of June following the death of his brother Ben in a car crash in Perth.

Mark Butcher is today expected to be named as stand-in captain for the opening game against Sussex at The Oval starting on Friday.

There will be a two minutes silence before Friday's game for Ben and Sussex all-rounder Umer Rashid, who drowned along with his brother Burhan in Grenada last month.
