Abbey's impressive debut

Milton Abbey reached the last 32 of the Under 18 Cup at the first attemptwhen they beat Bournemouth 20-17 at Milton Abbas in a game that was not asclose as the scoreline suggests.

The home side established a healthy leadonly for Bournemouth to stage a fightback as the Milton Abbey backsstruggled to rediscover their fluency.

Fly half Tim Nel's try, convertedby full back James Sealey, cancelled out an early breakthrough by thevisitors and Sealey put them ahead with a penalty before a second tryarrived before the interval courtesy of left winger Duncan Wallace.

Nel'ssecond try was decisive and they head to Salisbury on Wednesday for a toughgame against Bishop Wordsworth's, Richard Hill's old school, who lost thefirst ever final in 1991 despite the presence of the future England backrow. They reached the fifth round with a 28-18 win at Windsor Boys.

The tophalf of this section pits cup specialists RGS High Wycombe against Reading,who put out old rivals Lord Wandsworth.

Reading had won comfortably earlierin the season but Lord Wandsworth made them fight this time for a 15-10win.
