mark__owen It's always good to know that people are interested in what you're doing...I hope though that the support is there because what I'm doing musically is worthy of your ears.

mark__owen Two days - two long days, two very long days!

mark__owen Waking up with the sun radiating through your window is always the dream start - after that it doesn't matter!

stooge1 Were you surprised when you won Big Brother?

mark__owen No, it cost me £44,000 in phone calls, I left my phone at home on auto-dial for 12 days. Joke...not very funny joke!

mark_junkie Hiya Mark, what's it like being your own boss now?

mark__owen I wouldn't really say that I'm my own boss, but I'm very grateful for having a great team around me. It is, in a creative sense, nice to have the freedom to do things like direct your own video.

nikki86 Hi Mark! What's your favourite kind of food?

mark__owen Hi Nikki, at the moment I'm a sucker for tuna, slightly seared, with soya on a bed of rocket.

marksbaby What was it like for you to work in LA? Did you met some stars there?

mark__owen LA was a great experience...from driving around in our VW Beetle convertible with Hotel California blasting over the radio - as we actually drove past it - to working in a studio on Sunset where great bands like The Doors and Chilli Peppers recorded, to coming home with a great sounding track that I was really pleased with!

I didn't meet any stars but I went to a great club called 40 Deux where apparently Jack Nicholson goes sometimes! Ha ha!

stooge1 Do you still speak to Robbie? What does he think of your music?

mark__owen I saw Robbie when I was out in LA and I played him the new track, which he said he liked.

nikki86 Where did the inspiration for Makin' Out come from?

mark__owen The song begun with the piano line, which I though had quite a traditional feel to it and so then I wanted to put over top a kind of barber shop style verse to carry on in that style would not have worked, so the challenge was kind of taking it away from that for the bridge and chorus. The inspiration behind the song lyrically was I was at a time when I needed to almost pull myself through a difficult moment. The chorus does that for me and the verse is trying to get someone into you.

mark_junkie What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you to do?

mark__owen Somebody once came up to me and asked me to ask Daniel Bedingfield to come and sing at their birthday party.

markowens_babe I am a big big fan Mark! How do feel about your new single - are you confident about it doing well?

mark__owen I love my new single! I think it's one of the best songs I've written and in my eyes it's already been a success.

stooge1 What would you say are the lows and highs of fame?

mark__owen Probably one of the lows of fame is not knowing what is real and what isn't, maybe sometimes feeling that you can't express yourself fully to new people and the highs, well, still to find the highs.

paitolino Why do you chose the name Sedna records for your company?

mark__owen Because Sedna is actually of the new planet that has been found in the solar system and so we thought because it was a new start for us it was kind of appropriate.

sedna Mark - great new song... why can't we hear it on radio more?

mark__owen I don't know. I think it is a great radio song but unfortunately a lot of the programmers in the UK don't seem to take what I do musically very seriously.

sara_sweden Would you like to record a duet with a female singer? If so, who?

mark__owen It's not something that I have sleepless nights about but there are some female singers that I admire a lot. I love Alanis Morissette, Pink, Nelly Furtado but if I could choose anybody I would choose PJ Harvey.
