If clubland is supposedly still in decline, nobody bothered to let West London know. The team behind Cherry Jam, Ben Watt (DJ and ex-Everything But The Girl) and Alan Grant (ex-Notting Hill Arts Club), have revived the former Subterania as

The 600-capacity venue aims to bring together likeminded people, to hear good quality tunes, dance and socialise. Opening night responsibilities fall to Groove Armada (Andy Cato and Tom Findlay), fresh from rocking Manchester's epic Tribal Gathering, with their jumping, block-party style, and the ultimate good-time DJ, Norman Jay. It's shaping up to be one helluva blow-out.

Saturday hosts the global house of One Starry Night, as programmed by the night's four residents, who include Watt and Peter Adarkwah (BBE) - San Fran's Julius Papp is this week's extra special guest. Finally, on Sunday is Buzzin' Fly, a lazy afternoon blurring into evening session, as Watt gradually builds the deep house pressure.
