Susan Boyle made her live performing US debut in front of 25m viewers when she received a standing ovation on America's Got Talent.

The 48-year-old spinster from West Lothian, Scotland, wowed the audience and viewers with her versions of the Rolling Stones' hit Wild Horses and I Dreamed A Dream from Les Mis — the song she sang in the audition video that made her famous.
