U2 can celebrate O2 Day

This Saturday is 02 day! Why? Because the date is 02.02.02.

And if you feel the need to celebrate this auspicious day then you could do worse than visiting north west London's 02 Centre.

The 02 Centre is a massive leisure and retail centre catering for all the family with 10 restaurants and bars, a cinema, health and fitness gym (presumably to work off the calories from eating at 10 restaurants), plus a host of shops!

02 day will be fun-packed from the word go, with entertainment, competitions, special offers and discounts.

But what makes the 02 centre rather special are the amazing features found inside. The centre 'brings the outdoors, indoors' and includes rock formations, waterfalls, illuminated jumping water-jets and the largest free-viewing aquarium in the UK.

The 02 Centre is also the venue for The London International Gallery of Children's Art which hosts regular art activities and presents a year-round exhibition of children's work from countries, cultures and societies around the globe.

Highlights to mark 02.02.02 include a competition to win an Audi A4, plus a chance to play on a giant Scalextric layout and Playstation 2 consoles. Also, there will be art workshops and a treasure hunt for children, plus street entertainers and a steel band to make the day go with a swing.
