Although Geldof allowed them to spend time with the little girl, he insisted her nanny went too.
Before Tiger returned to the UK, claimed Mrs Glassop, she left a message on a corkboard reading: 'When are you going to visit me? But I'm still sorry I didn't come sooner.'
And she claims that shortly after Tiger Lily arrived back in London, her granddaughter told her in a phone call: 'I love you and Grandpa and I want to live with you. I don't want to live here.'
Apart from the Easter visit, Mrs Glassop said she and her husband had only seen the child one other time - and that was after a struggle.
'I had to fly to London but when I got there, Bob had taken her to Spain,' she said.
'I was stuck in a hotel room for three days, trying to find out where she was and what was going on.
'Then when I was eventually allowed to see her, it was once again with nannies in tow and other people walking in and out of the hotel room.'
Mrs Glassop added: 'We've already lost Michael and now it feels like we're losing Tiger as well.
'Tiger has lost both her parents and has been raised by a succession of nannies. Who's home with Tiger to give her a hug when she needs one?'
