So, when shooting started, in late 2004, Weisz and Aronofsky, who had been living together in New York City, decided that they would live apart for the duration. "It was Darren's idea and it was the right thing to do," she says. "During that time it was going to be extremely intense for him - and for me - and that would create some kind of separation anyway. So we went to work and had a very professional relationship, but then we'd meet on Saturday and have a fight and make up on Sunday. It was very passionate and romantic."
