The Kashpoint phenomenon

The Incongruous Pairing Of The Year award has to go to club night Kashpoint and the new Kitsch & Camp comedy evening at award-winning club Amused Moose. They are climbing into bed together this week at Soho's Moonlighting club. For those of you who've missed out on the Kashpoint phenomenon, it's a club night originally hosted on a boat on the Thames which attracts more fashion kids than the Milan shows.

Electro beats, cutting-edge costumes and attitudes that make Diana Ross look approachable have established it as something of a cult classic.

Heaven only knows what the gay glitterati are going to make of the comedy-night punters who take possession of the club from 7.45pm. The Kitsch comedy show features the wonderful Australian TV star and one of the funniest up-and-coming comediennes, Miss Julia Morris (or J-Mo to those in the know), the multitalented Matthew Todd and Brit comedy award winner Lee Mack (right). The whole shebang is hosted by livewire Spencer Brown and you can even order supper.
