This family fun day will introduce gastronomic delights.

At 11.30am, Philippa Glanville will be revealing secrets of Louis XV's dining room, Ivan Day will spin a tale about the intricacy of sugar sculptures at 2pm, and there's a drawing workshop with Zoe Telford at 2.30pm that investigates how Dutch Masters achieved such perfect still-lifes.

By 3pm, parents should head off for wine-tasting (£20 per head) in Cafe Bagatelle, naturally.
