Stipe takes on Bush

Look out George Bush - Michael Stipe is on your case.

The REM frontman joined forces with rocker Bruce Springsteen to perform the first of a string of blistering anti-Bush concerts across America, kicking off in Philadelphia.

REM are touring the UK next year, including summer gigs in Hyde Park.

Their new album, Around The Sun, is out today.
