Sister Mary McArthur

Asinging nun out to share the joys of convent life with anyone who's willing to give her a spare hour and a half may not sound the most promising of propositions for week's japery. However, if I tell you that the nun in question is the alter ego of award-winning comedian and man-about-town, Tim McArthur, the whole thing takes on a very different tone.

For one week only, Tim will be digging out his habit and taking his audience on an outrageous musical journey through the trials and tribulations of a nun's life.

The outrageously camp premise for the show is that Sister Mary was the lovechild of a West End performer who abandoned her on the steps of the convent as a tiny child.

Knowing her past dictates the show tune-loving nun's future. So with such a difficult start in life it would be downright cruel not to lend her an ear as she sings her little heart out.
