Sadie Frost makes a splash as a water baby

An off-the-cuff joke resulted in a terrifying reality for actress and designer Sadie Frost as she starred in hit Argentinian show Fuerzabruta.

The 48-year-old morphed into a water baby as she showed off her acrobatic skills — suspended 20 feet above the ground — in a one-off appearance last night. She joined six other scantily clad women diving across a pool of water held in a giant transparent sheet while the audience, including Kate Moss and Daisy Lowe, watched below.

Frost said: “It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever done. I studied flying trapeze for five years but this was much harder. You don’t know what’s going to happen.” As an ambassador for the Roundhouse in Camden, she had joked about starring in the show when it returned after last year’s sell-out run.

“I said I liked the dancing and said I’d love to appear in it, as a joke really. Then they said they could make it happen and I said yes. It was amazing.”
