Posh: I've never read a book

Victoria Beckham has her name on the cover of one autobiography while her husband has brought out two.

But the former Spice Girl claims she has never actually read a book.

She told a Spanish journalist that she prefers magazines and music.

'I haven't read a book in my life,' she said. 'I haven't got enough time. I prefer to listen to music, although I do love fashion magazines.'

Posh, 31, has only a handful of GCSEs by way of educational attainment. She has often talked of how she hated her school in Hertfordshire, where she was bullied for being spotty and flash - her father, who ran a firm making electrical parts, often used to take her there in his Rolls-Royce.

But it is still perhaps surprising that she has not even read her own book Learning to Fly, or her husband's two autobiographies My World and My Side.

Also in the interview, which is to appear in the magazine Chic but was leaked to Spanish newspapers, Victoria revealed that she wants more children - and is hoping to have a girl.

'I can imagine myself painting her nails, helping her with her make-up, choosing clothes with her,' she said.

The singer-turned-fashion-designer is on holiday with sons Brooklyn, six, Romeo, two, and six-month-old Cruz in St Tropez, where she was pictured looking like model Kate Moss in cut-off denim hotpants, black waistcoat, knee-length boots and oversized sunglasses. Her husband is in Austria with his Real Madrid team-mates.
