Police investigating handcuff snap of Lily Allen

Police officers in Australia are being investigated after pictures of Lily Allen being handcuffed by an officer surfaced on the singer’s Instagram.

Lily, who is currently on a short tour in Australia, flew to the Gold Coast over the weekend to headline the Splendour in the Grass festival.

When she arrived, she reportedly asked police to handcuff her while a picture was taken and then put the picture on her Instagram account.

The picture shows Lily kneeling in the road, with her hands behind her back as a police officer puts her wrists in handcuffs. The picture was captioned ‘#uhoh’ but has since been deleted.

The Australian Federal Police are now investigating the image and what happened.

A source told TMZ: "[An investigation was launched and the AFP] acknowledged protocols were breached but then seemed to justify it by saying the officers were caught in the moment."
