Pixie's blast for Geldof

As Bob Geldof basked in the congratulations after the concert, his moment of glory was rudely interrupted by his daughter Pixie.

The 14-year-old informed him that the night was young, and she intended to enjoy a good many more hours of it at the aftershow parties before she went home.

Breaking off from media interviews, Geldof reminded her that, like her 16-year-old sister Peaches, she was subject to a 1am curfew at the weekends (10.30pm on school nights).

The discussion became louder and louder until father and daughter were screaming at each other.

But they eventually reached a compromise when Geldof agreed that she

could have a half-hour extension and stay out until 1.30.

Both Pixie and Peaches have become fixtures on the London celebrity circuit over the past 18 months, and earlier this year Pixie appeared as a presenter on a one-off programme It's a Girl Thing! for the satellite channel Sky Mix.
