Peter Andre: 'I'm friends with everybody I've been out with'

Peter Andre says he follows Simon Cowell's lead of remaining friends with his ex girlfriends.

The singer, who is dating dancer Kristina MacMillan, admits he likes his previous relationships to remain genial - but cannot afford to subsidise them like the media mogul does with his exes.

"Apart from Katie [Price] - although we're amicable for the kids - I'm friends with everybody I've been out with," said Andre.

"Didn't Cowell say he pays them [his ex girlfriends] because he doesn't think they should go from sharing his lifestyle to nothing? I think that's admirable. Although I don't have that kind of cash!"

Andre has a new reality television show, Peter Andre: My Life, and said: "We changed the title! When you have enough 'next chapters', the book eventually has to shut. But it's my life; it's crazy - there are ups and downs."
