Pals warn Danielle Lloyd: Quit club scene

Friends of Danielle Lloyd have urged the Wag to quit the club scene for good for her own safety.

The 25-year-old model had to have an emergency operation on her calf and 20 stitches in her lower back on Monday after a vicious attack in Crystal nightclub in Marylebone.

That came after another assault in a club earlier this month when Lloyd was allegedly punched in the face after a row with friends of the ex-girlfriend of her Spurs footballer boyfriend Jamie O'Hara's.

Today her pals urged her to steer clear of the party circuit to avoid a fatal attack and to move back to Liverpool where her family can look after her.

A source said that the attack on Monday morning - where Lloyd was thrown across a table with glass bottles on it - was inevitable.

"To be honest, no one is surprised that this has happened," the source said. "It is shocking to see blood but Dani has almost come to blows before now. She is looking to get away now as she's too scared. She won't be seen out for a while and she'll have a bodyguard."

Meanwhile, today Lloyd's surgeon warned that the attack could have left her paralysed. After the surgery at the private Wellington hospital in St John's Wood, her trauma and orthopaedic consultant Elliot Sorene said: "She is very lucky that major blood vessels and arteries were not involved, otherwise she would have been left permanently paralysed.

"Miss Lloyd was very lady-like throughout the whole harrowing episode."

Two women were arrested and bailed after the incident.
