Out for a country spin

This rally commemorates 'Emancipation Day' in 1896, when cars were finally released from the tyranny of motoring behind a man waving a red flag.

Cars leave Hyde Park Corner between 7.30am and 9am and head down the A23 to their final destination in Madeira Drive, Brighton.

If you manage the early start you'll be treated to 400 pampered relics, all at least a century old, travelling at a very stately 20mph.
