Orson Welles was just 25 when he directed, starred in and co-wrote (unless you choose to believe Herman Mankiewicz on the subject) Kane, and it's still one of the greatest films ever made.

As well as a remastered version of Welles's remarkable cinematic poke in the eye at press baron William Randolph Hearst, this well-crafted two-disc box set features an audio commentary, a pleasing range of docs (including one from Barry Norman) and photos, and a commemorative booklet and stills - a nice package for a traditional film buff who has somehow failed to buy it before.
