Old Vic's six plays in a day

Kevin Spacey's Old Vic is to host a theatrical experiment that will see six new plays written, rehearsed and performed in one day.

Actors Saffron Burrows, John Hurt, Kwame Kwei-Armah, Damian Lewis and Rufus Sewell will take part in The 24 Hour Plays on 19 June.

Last year's inaugural 24 Hour Plays saw Oscar winner Jim Broadbent take to the Old Vic stage, raising £50,000 for its new talent development fund.
