London's bling bars

The world's most expensive cocktail was recently sipped away in Paris for a mere £323, but there's no need to be quite so flashy in London. There are some lovely luxurious bars where you can fling on your diamonds and be bling bling without taking out a second mortgage for a round of drinks, well, nearly.

Mayfair chic doesn’t come more minimalist than Cacconi’s and it’s packed with ‘slebs. When you’ve finished ogling these, head to the bar where the staff will ask you what flavours you like, and blend you a drink accordingly. Create your own cocktail dahling, how bling is that!

So posh, you’ll need to wear a jacket and tie to get in and the Martinis are said to be phenomenal. Guys, imagine you're Pierce Brosnan enjoying it shaken and not stirred, girls, get the diamonds out, it’s time to be a Bond girl.

Blue Bar

The Berkeley Hotel, Wilton Place
Walk in here and you feel like you’re walking straight on the set of a film. The décor is fantastic ... and blue. The service is pure class in the unflappable butler-style and the cocktails simply must be devoured, we mean sipped.

Claridges

Brook Street, Mayfair
Discreet, luxurious and for the properly bling, there’s more money in this wonderfully glamorous Art-Deco bar than the Bank of England’s top vault, well nearly. Enjoy a bellini and free snacks to (Gucci) boot! A-list blingsters residing upstairs may waft in to join you.
