Life's Osgood as it can get

There comes a time in a footballer's career for the testimonial or benefit match.

Sunderland's Niall Quinn recently split the proceeds of his between two hospitals - a local one and one in his hometown of Dublin - while Leeds United's Gary Kelly has pledged the proceeds from his to a cancer charity in memory of his late sister. And now it's the turn of Peter Osgood, Chelsea's 1970 FA Cup Final goalscorer.

Osgood and the Chelsea Allstars - a team made up of players from the Seventies to the present day that includes Kerry Dixon, Ron Harris and Alan Hudson - will take on Sky One's Dream Team, with Footballers Wives star Gary Lucy, Beppe and Robbie from EastEnders, ex-Boyzone members Shane Lynch and Keith Duffy and snooker's Ronnie O'Sullivan.

Proceeds from the game will be shared among local charities, including the St Helier Hospice. There are activities for the kids, including bouncy castles, face-painting and a junior disco.
