Lara Stone reveals she didn't enjoy pregnancy

Model Lara Stone has revealed that she wasn't a fan of being pregnant.

Lara, who is married to actor and comedian David Walliams, revealed that the changes that her body went through during her pregnancy were ‘quite frightening’ and she worried she would never work again.

Talking to Sunday Times Style, the model said: "Being pregnant affected my work quite early on - it's not like you can work until you're eight months pregnant. It was quite frightening seeing my body change so much.”

She added: "Yes, I did worry about the impact, because my body is my job and my livelihood."

The Dutch model took a year off from modelling to be with her son, but admitted that she had been keen to get back to work.

Lara continued to say: "It's nice once the baby's here, but then I was like, 'I really want to do something again.'"

The model admitted that as her and husband David’s families live far away, they often have to leave Alfred with nannies, when they are both working.

"Sometimes there is nothing you can do and you have to leave him with the nanny for a couple of days."
