Jose: Why I love London

With his bold swagger, touchline passion and dashing sense of style, Jose Mourinho seems the epitome of the Latin man about town.

But away from the pitch the Chelsea manager is more of a put-upon Dad.

In a revealing interview with Time Out magazine, the Portuguese soccer icon confesses all about his life in London. Nightclubs, parties and bars are out, while Herbie Goes Bananas and the ducks in Hyde Park are in.

Mourinho, 42, says his offduty hobbies revolve around daughter Matilde, nine, and five-year-old son Jose junior. "Away from football I don't have any choices in the matter [about how I relax]," says Mourinho. "I used to like quad biking but I can't do that in England because of Chelsea's insurance policy.

"And at home I have to do what my kids want me to do, which at the moment is tennis and skating.

"I try to go [to the cinema] when I can but, again, I cannot choose the movies, I have to see what the kids want to see so it's usually The Fantastic Four and Herbie."

Wife Tami, meanwhile, is clearly the practical one at home. "I am a disgrace at DIY," Mourinho reveals. "I cannot mend a tap, I cannot even change a lightbulb. I am hopeless. A disgrace! My wife does it all and when she can't, she has the number of a man who can."

But he does confess to spending some time on his love of what appears to be "Dad rock", with favourites including Pink Floyd, Phil Collins and Sting.
