Jordan's having a ball

It's fabulously overblown, gloriously tacky and revels in its ludicrous excesses. How fitting, then, that Jordan is set to make a star appearance in Footballers' Wives.

These are the first pictures of the glamour model in her TV drama debut where she comes face-to-face with the show's superbitch Tanya Turner - played by Zoe Lucker.

Thankfully, her dramatic start is not too much of a challenge - because Jordan plays herself.

And while she may never have been an actual footballer's wife, she has been linked with several Premiership players and has a son from her affair with Blackburn striker Dwight Yorke.

The model - real name Katie Price - appears as a celebrity guest at the lavish wedding of two of the show's new characters, ruthless starlet Shannon Donnelly and northern whizz-kid Harley Lawson.

Donnelly and Lawson are thrilled that celebrity gossip magazine Hello! has asked to cover their nuptials, and that Jordan has been invited to attend.

And though bride Shannon has her doubts about Jordan's pouting antics in the wedding photographs, she is soon won around by a one-to-one lesson from the model in how to use her own newlyenhancedbreasts to maximum effect. "Now you've got 'em," she coaches huskily, "you've got to learn how to use 'em. It only took me an hour. I was a busty girl trapped in a flat girl's body."

And it looks like it could be bosoms at dawn when she encounters Tanya. The character is Footballers' Wives answer to Alexis Carrington, and she is used to being the centre of attention at Earls Park FC.

A storyline in the show involves teenage soccer sensation Darius Fry, who has an obsessive crush on Tanya. But one glimpse of the glamour model drives all thoughts of scheming Tanya out of the teenager's head.

"His crush on Tanya bites the dust when he dances a slow number with Jordan," says a spokeswoman.

Fresh from her jungle exploits in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Jordan said: "It was excellent being in Footballers' Wives. I love the show.

"My role was bigger than I thought it would be as even though I play myself they gave me lines. The scenes took two days of filming but it was cool. The crew and the actors were all really nice."
