Jonathan Pryce reprises role to celebrate Miss Saigon's 25th anniversary
The original stars of the hit show Miss Saigon took to the stage last night to celebrate 25 years of the hit musical.
Lea Salonga, Simon Bowman and Jonathan Pryce reprised their roles as Kim, Chris and the Engineer as they joined the current cast of the show for a special performance at the Prince Edward Theatre last night.

At the end of the performance, Salonga took to the stage as her former character Kim, and introduced Bowman, who played her leading man in the original performance.
Jonathan Pryce, who since Miss Saigon has had roles in Pirates of the Caribbean and is set to star in HBO’s Game of Thrones, arrived on stage in a rickshaw to perform The American Dream.
The show’s producer, Sir Cameron Mackintosh, was also on hand to help celebrate, and at the end of the show said: "We never thought we would ever get this chance to do it all over again. To have two fantastic casts here is just extraordinary. We are incredibly blessed."
