Jacko jurors say he's guilty

Two jurors who cleared Michael Jackson of child sex abuse have now decided he was guilty and plan to write books about their deliberations, it emerged yesterday.

Eleanor Cook, 79 , will call her book Guilty As Sin, Free As A Bird, according to reports.

Ray Hultman, 62, who said just after the verdict was delivered that he believed Jackson had probably molested boys, will call his The Deliberator.

The pair are said to be two of the three jurors who initially voted that the singer was guilty of molesting Gavin Arvizo, 13, in an early ballot. Larry Garrison, president of Silver Creek Entertainment, who will co-write Miss Cook's book, said a film about the jurors' experiences was also in the pipeline.

'These books are going to rock the nation,' he told the New York Daily News. 'Elly and Ray are two of the three jurors who (initially) voted for guilty.'

The 12 jurors unanimously cleared Jackson, 46, of all ten charges relating to the alleged molestation of cancer patient Gavin Arvizo on June 13 after some 32 hours of deliberations over seven days. In the interviews with jurors immediately after Jackson was acquitted, Miss Cook was among those who fervently supported the verdicts.

But Mr Hultman said at the time: 'I feel that Michael Jackson probably has molested boys.

'But that doesn't make him guilty of the charges that were presented in this case.' Mr Hultman will write The Deliberator along with former Jackson family friend and author Stacy Brown.

It was made clear during the hearings that Jackson is financially ruined.

His first attempt to reverse his fortunes appears to have floundered, with his new album selling only 8,000 copies in its first week in the U.S. last week.
