The company secured £300million, which was used to pay off the debt and buy half of The Beatles' song library. Jackson already owned the other half.
A spokesman for the New York firm said: 'We simply want to be paid for the work we carried out.' There is speculation-that the singer may have to sell part of his publishing empire to stay out of the red.
Jackson's trial showed he has little money in the bank. He spent much of the money from Bank of America on a lavish lifestyle and running his Neverland ranch.
He is thought to be on holiday in the Persian Gulf after being acquitted of child abuse at the end of a 14-week trial.
