Jacko faces accuser in court

Michael Jackson last night came face to face with the teenage cancer victim who claims he molested him.

Gavin Arviso, 15, took the stand in the packed Santa Monica court room looking trim in a blue shirt. Asked if he recognised the defendant, the youngster looked briefly at Jackson before replying: 'Yes.'

The singer stared at the young witness impassively as he started to give his evidence to prosecutor Tom Sneddon.

Arviso told the jurors how Jackson asked if he and his brother wanted to spend the night in his room on their very first visit to the star's Neverland ranch.

'We were in his office where we were all talking, me, my brother and Michael,' he said. 'Michael said we should sleep in his room and I was like "Ok, yeah".'

The court then heard how the trio surfed the Internet for pornography while Jackson's two children slept on his bed.

Mr Sneddon if Michael Jackson was there and involved in looking at the pornography. Gavin replied: 'Yes, he was like pointing at different girls and saying "I like her".'

He added: 'We were looking at the sites and there was this girl with her shirt up.

And Michael was all coy and stuff but he said 'Got Milk?' and we all laughed.

Gavin told the court that, between the first trip to Neverland in 2000 and his second in November 2002 to film the Martin Bashir documentary, he had very little contact with Jackson.

But after the BBC filmmaker arrived, the singer was keen for the teenager to appear in the programme, the court heard.

'After introducing me to Mr Bashir Michael took me into a library and started telling me, "You want to be an actor right?" I said I wanted to be a comedian.
