It's a truce as Peter Andre visits Katie Price's sick son in hospital

Katy Price and Peter Andre have called a truce to keep vigil at her son Harvey's bedside after he was struck by suspected swine flu.

Price, 31, and her ex-husband, 36, dashed to East Surrey Hospital in Redhill, Surrey, after seven-year-old Harvey was taken there with breathing difficulties.

Price, who was said to be "in pieces", was on a nationwide book tour when Harvey's nanny called her to say he had fallen ill.

She cancelled a number of book signings, and told a friend: "I have to be there for Harvey. He's my little angel and he needs his mummy."

Harvey, who is Price's son from her relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke, 38, suffers from a rare condition which has left him partially blind and needs round-the-clock care.

Doctors said he will be kept in for 48 hours as they fear he could develop complications from the illness, which is especially dangerous for children.

A source close to Andre said: "He is very worried. He wanted to be with Harvey as well."
