'I want to marry Charlotte'

Gavin Henson has confessed he wants to marry Charlotte Church - adding "we'd love to start a family together".

The 24-year-old Welsh international rugby player has spoken out after conflicting rumours that he is planning to propose and that his friends have urged him to ditch her for the sake of his career.

He said: "We're good for each other, it's really good. She'd love to get married, so maybe we will then. I hope she'll ask me, but I suppose I'd better do it. We'd love a family together."

Interviewed by Jonathan Ross for his show, to be screened tonight, the British Lions centre said their biggest obstacle was the paparazzi. "It's hard because they sit outside the house. Sometimes I want to go and talk to them but I hold back," he said.
