Tate Modern takes on the Warhol legacy with a major retrospective of 150 works that covers his entire career from the illustrations and ads of the Fifties to the 'Rorschach Blot' and 'Camouflage' paintings of the Eighties. Also featured are Warhol's iconic portraits of celebrities, images of Campbell's soup cans plus a recreation of his 1966 installation of cow-themed wallpaper and helium-filled silver pillows. A separate film programme running over the next couple of months features Warhol's Sixties underground movies including Eat, Horse, Harlot and Poor Little Rich Girl starring doomed socialite muse Edie Sedgwick.
