Mark Adams has been wowing the West End as Dean Martin in The Rat Pack Live. Here he reveals his tips on how to copy the Rat Pack's stylish cool...

"When it comes to choosing the right suit, opt for mohair. The Rat Pack always wore mohair because it has a certain lustre and shine so looked great on stage — that's what they all would have worn in the original Ocean's Eleven.

"Dean Martin would wear a single-breasted jacket with one fairly low slung button. He'd usually go for silver grey, whereas Sinatra favoured a more sober black.

"Dean would wear a white soft collar shirt with double buttons on the cuff — it was a very classy look. He'd team that with a silk grey tie but sometimes he wore a bow tie with a button-down collar, which was unusual.

"Sammy Davis Junior was much more flamboyant. He loved bright flowery or ruffled shirts and lots of flashy jewellery, but all the guys wore a big gold pinky ring encrusted with emeralds and diamonds.

"We get our suits made for by Chris Coleman at Copperfields and our ties from Hidditch and Key on Jermyn St."

"Everything was handmade even down to the shoes. Dean often wore suede shoes with pointed toes but they would always be black. Frank preferred black patent leather and Sammy wore boots.

"They would team them with white socks, which aren't traditionally seen as being very cool, but they could get away with anything."

"Dean Martin's father was a barber so he was always immaculate. The guys would steam and shave before a show and people said you could smell their cologne five rows back.

"Dean wore Faberge Woodhue but I've tried to get it and they don't make it anymore. It was quite spicy - the tailor Richard James does a very similar one.

"They were into their manicures and massages as well and they pampered themselves long before it was fashionable. Frank and Dean were second generation Italian so they were used to looking after themselves."
