The 48-year-old musician rescued his pet Pomeranian, called Chewy, from being swept out to sea after a huge wave at Miami beach pulled the poor pooch under the water.
The Bush frontman, who is the father of Daisy Lowe, had been playing in the sand with his sons Kingston, eight, and Zuma, five, and Rachel Zoe's husband Rodger Berman and their three-year-old son Skyler when the wave wiped out their four-legged friend.
Rodger immediately scooped up the children, but Gavin dived into the water to save Chewy after noticing that the tiny creature was struggling to swim back to shore.
