Known for?: Being one of London's original It girls, as daughter of Annabel and the late Jimmy Goldsmith, forswearing Western culture when she married irritating ex-cricketer Imran Khan, and bouncing back with a vengeance when they suddenly divorced earlier this year.

Romance rocketed when: Rumours were all over these two like the proverbial cheap suit even before the Khans divorced. Hugh attended Jemima's 30th birthday party in January — Imran didn't. Despite going to extreme pains to not be pictured together, the hoity-toity lovebirds were first said to be 'all over each other' at toff's nightspot Annabel's (named after Jemima's mum) and have now been snapped 'frolicking' on a beach in France.

Make or break: Well, it seems to be all Claret and roses with these two at the moment, according to the tabloids. Hugh's said to have taken Jemima to Cornwall to meet his dad, a big step for this self-confessed commitment-phobe.

Soppy speak: As usual, in lieu of some actual quotes from the poshos in question, the newspapers have come up trumps with their sources. A 'friend of the couple' whispered to the Mirror: "Hugh says his relationship with Jemima is the real thing," and the NOTW had "They act like teenagers together. Hugh can't stop showing his affection for her." Aahhhhh.

Biz Bitch says: On paper, these two look like a perfect match. Both super-posh country-loving rah's with connections and money to burn, they could be the new, er, Hugh and Liz. But Jemima comes with baggage — an ex-husband and two small children — and Hugh isn't renowned for his settling-down ways. No, sirree.
