Known for?: Achieving the near-impossible: he transformed from national ridicule after appearing as the be-goateed cod-philosophising wannabe on Popstars to rather suave, sexy and stylish solo singing superstar!

Romance rocketed when: This little-and-large pairing has been chugging along fairly quietly since October, it seems. Geri and Darius felt Cupid's arrow when they both performed at the Tickled Pink breast cancer charity gig in September, and have been snapped doing lots of cosy couple things since then - shopping at Asda etc.

Make or break: Around now, we reckon. They made their most high-profile announcement of couple-dom to date when Darius was Gezza's guest to the Beckham boys' christening late last year, and now we'll just have to wait and see whether this fledgling fling sees out the release of their (separate) new singles.

Soppy speak: Hmmm, it all goes a bit skeewiff here. One minute we're hearing that Geri "thinks he could be the One", then Darius reportedly says of their relationship: "I have a record coming out this week. Let's just say that it helps," and really tries to kibosh it by adding, "There's nothing going between us, honestly. The thing is we're both Leos and we get on really well and we like hanging out - but nothing else."

Biz Bitch says: Is this really going on? Darius has been spotted with a 'bevy' of other beauties, including ex Natasha Henstridge, since he was meant to be dating Geri, and his flat-out denial would seem to add credence to his insistence that it's all totally innocent. But we have learned to long distrust star denials, as they’re all big fibbers. So we're not ruling out the prospect of little Gerius and Hallineshes in the future...
