Defected In The House

Although the Ministry has had its share of criticism over the years, the venue's recent refurbishment has given the old dog a new lease of life and Saturday's party with the Defected crew is well worth heading south for.

Appearing for the first time on these shores is France's Martin Solveig, who is the man behind the fabulous 'Rockin Music'. His tracks of late have been getting untold radio support and methinks we will be seeing much more of him in future, so it was no surprise when monsieur Bob Sinclar asked him to join him on his Africanism project, for whom he produced the electrotinged tune 'Heartbeat'. Watch out too for the release of his artist album Sur La Terre which is out in the UK any day now.

Joining Martin will be the excellent Sandy Rivera, who has been keeping us happy with his beautiful, emotive house for over a decade now. Over in the bar, House FM will be moving us until the wee hours with their slightly more soulful house selection, courtesy of Paul Farris, DJ Leo and Rosko, while the Baby Box will be hosted by Funk U.
