David Gandy quizzed on Romeo Beckham's modelling career

David Gandy has commented on Romeo Beckham's flourishing modelling career.

The 34-year-old, who recently launched his own line of pants for Marks & Spencer, has said that having David and Victoria as his parents has probably helped Romeo take his first step on the career ladder.

Speaking to The Sun, Gandy reportedly said: “Who’s Romeo? Oh, that’s Beckham’s son. I think the Beckham name will have helped for that one.”

Romeo first modelled for Burberry earlier this year. He is also set to be the face of the brand's Christmas campaign.

Whereas buffed and broody Gandy is Britain’s highest paid male model, earning a whopping $1.4m from September 2012 to 2013 – certainly nothing to be sniffed at.

Rumour has it he has also started dating ex-girlfriend Mollie King of The Saturdays again, reuniting after the pair split in 2011. David let slip that the singer has a draw of her own at his place.
