It's been a great start in London for these Liverpool lunatics, with their free weekly session at the Social going right off. This double-whammy Friday-nighter coincides with the publication of the new issue of

Their Social soiree has seen some great guest DJs and live acts swinging through those famous doors, including my mate Yousef, the excellent Joe Ransom and our Yorkshire pal Dave Beer. Musically, the soundtrack is a collection of the funkiest breaks, the deepest house, broken beats and classic hip-hop that attracts a really friendly crowd.

This Friday at the Social is the boys' Key pre-party, warming us all up in the West End with the Beat Monkeys and Matty J. before it's all off to N1 for an all-night mashup with the Avalanches' DJ Dexter, Wandy, Luke Carr, Dom Chung and Sarah Sweeney mixing it all up. Chibuku - bringing us some of the magic from up North down South.
