Charlotte's 7am Ibiza experience

Blinking in the glare of early morning, Charlotte Church and her gang of friends continue their quest for the full Ibiza experience.

The girls emerged from a nightclub at 7am looking surprised that dawn had already been and gone.

They also realised that, after several hours of dancing in high heels, their feet hurt like crazy.

Thankfully, 18-year-old Charlotte's holiday arrangements include a chauffeur-cum-bodyguard on permanent duty so they were soon whisked back to her rented villa for a good morning's sleep.

As the Daily Mail reported yesterday, the Welsh opera singer has invested some of her £5.5million fortune in paying for her friends to join her on Ibiza, which is renowned for its beaches and hectic nightlife.

They arrived on Saturday, leaving Charlotte's boyfriend Kyle Johnson behind in Cardiff.

The teenage star has promised to be faithful to him during her week away. But she also signalled her intention of exploring the Balearic island's attractions to the full, and the girls didn't waste any time. After unpacking at the villa near San Antonio, which is apparently costing £ 25,000 for the week, the girls watched the sunset sipping cocktails at the Cafe Mambo bar before heading for the Eden nightclub - which regularly attracts groups from the Club 18-30 tour operator.

It was 4am before they emerged. And that was a mere rehearsal for the following night.

After a visit to the beach and a long dinner on Sunday, the girls headed for the Pacha club, where their names were on the guest list. 'They had access to the exclusive VIP room, but they didn't seem interested,' said a fellow holidaymaker.

' Instead they came out and enjoyed themselves on the main dancefloor with the other clubbers, dancing and laughing with a whole load of strangers.

'Charlotte appeared to be drinking whisky and was buying rounds of drinks with her girlfriends. At one point they all went and downed shots of spirits at the bar. Lots of men approached Charlotte but she rebuffed any advances and was clearly only interested in spending time with her girlfriends.

'A lot of people inside the club asked for autographs and to have their photos taken with her - and she happily agreed to every request.'

So who is in Charlotte's gang? Naomi Holland, 18, is a sales assistant in a jewellery store. She met the singer when they were pupils at the £6,000-per-year Howell's School for Girls in Cardiff.

Another Howell's girl in the party is an 18-year- old known as Abby, who is an administration assistant for the Welsh National Assembly.
