Taylor Swift hasn't dated since Harry Styles

Taylor Swift has revealed that she hasn’t been on a date since breaking things off with Harry Styles in January 2013.

The Shake It Off singer, who is known with her hectic love life, says she hasn’t seen anyone else since splitting with One Direction star Harry Styles.

Speaking to Rolling Stones, Taylor explained: "[I] have not gone on a date. People are going to feel sorry for me when you write that. But it's true."

The singer went on to explain that she felt her relationships, or lack thereof as the case may be, were bringing her too much media attention, and that’s not what she wants to be known for.

She added: "I'm just not comfortable providing that kind of entertainment anymore. I don't like seeing slide shows of guys I've apparently dated. I don't like giving comedians the opportunity to make jokes about me at awards shows. I don't like it when headlines read 'Careful, Bro, She'll Write a Song About You,' because it trivializes my work."

The Love Story singer continued to say she didn’t want her previous relationships to affect future ones: "And most of all, I don't like how all these factors add up to build the pressure so high in a new relationship that it gets snuffed out before it even has a chance to start."
