More lissom, loungey hip hop from MC Solaar, who used to be denied mainstream success in this country because he rapped in French but is now denied success for far more mundane reasons: he's let himself get left behind.

A variety of styles - from Afrobeat to Russian folk music - flow through Solaar's soulful jazz-hop, a misleadingly comfortable backdrop for Solaar's weighty, politicised lyrics. When he is good, he is very good - La Vie Est Belle is superb - but when he is bad, he is dull, which in this era of technically inventive hip hop, translates as increasingly out of date.

The Farrelly brothers' latest comedy takes a delicate subject - conjoined twins - and treats it with an irreverence that manages, unusually for them, to stop short of utter tastelessness.

Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are literally joined at the hip; they're champion burgermakers in their rural town until Kinnear, the extrovert, decides that it's now or never for that chance at Hollywood fame. Cue much silliness sprinkled with gentle sentiment, as the boys try to find love and self-fulfilment in Tinseltown.
