Nicole Appleton receives quickie divorce from Liam Gallagher

Singer Nicole Appleton has today received a quickie divorce from ex-husband Liam Gallagher.

The divorce petition was heard at the Principal Registry of the High Court in London today but neither party were present at the hearing. It appeared on a list of undefended cases heard by Judge Anne Aitken as Appleton N M V Gallagher L J P.

The pair’s marriage began to break down last July, when reports surfaced that the former Oasis singer had fathered a daughter with American journalist Liza Ghorbani.

Nicole was said to be devastated when Liam ended their 5 year marriage over the phone last summer while she was on holiday in Florida with her sisters.
