Calling all Robbie Williams fans. You can now rent the singer's former Notting Hill pad for £1,800 a week through Chard. The three-storey apartment off Westbourne Grove has three bedrooms, two reception rooms and a roof terrace overlooking Portobello Road antiques market. "When Robbie lived there it was very much laid out as a bachelor pad," reports the agent. "But after he moved into his new house around the corner last January, the owners made it more family-friendly." Not only does the flat have its own entrance beside the Paul Smith boutique, but also an elaborate security system.

Model and restaurateur Sophia Burrell has spent £900,000 buying a three-bedroom South Kensington mews house through Aylesfords. As well as a garage, it has an office and a small garden. "The house is within walking distance of my two restaurants, Catch and The Water Rat," enthuses polo-playing Burrell, who previously lived in her parents' Mayfair house. "My miniature dachshund puppy, Inca, is particularly pleased that I now have a garden."

A rare family home designed by award-winning London architect Michael Manser is for sale in historic Chiswick Mall overlooking the Thames. The new high-tech house consists of five bedrooms, four bathrooms, two reception rooms and a riverside garden. The £2.5 million price tag through Knight Frank includes off-street parking for three cars. But buyers should be warned that Chiswick Mall frequently floods at high tide.

Carphone Warehouse tycoon Charles Dunstone has become the latest celebrity to fall for the wind-swept attractions of north Norfolk. He has bought a detached 18th century house in the centre of Burnham Market, which was on for £750,000. "Charlie has had the builders in, getting it exactly to his taste," reports a neighbour. "He seems a very private person and so we haven't seen him around much." For Dunstone, worth an estimated £431 million, his latest retreat is quite a modest purchase. New neighbours include Stephen Fry, Earl Spencer and Les Dennis and his wife, Amanda Holden.
