Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green announce split after two years of marriage

Celebrity couple Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green are splitting up, they have confirmed.

The Made In Chelsea star and the rapper married in 2013 but have decided to end their relationship, it was announced today.

In a joint statement they said: "It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation.

"It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well."

Three weeks ago, Professor Green, real name Stephen Manderson, said the couple had only spent one day together “all year”.

Speaking to The Sun about their recent holiday to Florence, Italy, Green said: “It was the first time I had seen her properly in 30 days. We had seen each other like ships in the night, but we weren’t getting any quality time together.

“It is good sometimes to have space, but it is also difficult when you miss someone for that long."

Neither has filed for divorce yet.
