Gloucester Road is the weakest link

TV inquisitor Anne Robinson's white terrace house near Gloucester Road has become the weakest link in her increasingly glamorous lifestyle. Robinson wants to swap it for a penthouse in Kensington or Chelsea. "Unfortunately, properties of the right size and quality are rare in that area," says one of her agents, Mangal Kapoor. Anne and her husband, John Penrose, prefer their £2 million Cotswold manor house when not in California filming the American version of The Weakest Link. "They live in great luxury in Gloucestershire," explains a friend. "In London they want a base which they can just lock up and forget."

The only house in Eccleston Square, Pimlico not converted into flats is for rent at £3,500 a week through Hamptons. Its owner, millionaire solicitor Robert Gibbons, has completely refurbished the Regency property, which includes six bedrooms, a billiard room, conservatory and staff quarters, after a fire. The agents describe the dining/sitting room as "capable of hosting inter-governmental conferences". Racehorse-owner Gibbons is best known for introducing Sheik Mohammed al-Maktoum of Dubai to the world of flat-racing.

Model Natasha Caine, daughter of actor Sir Michael Caine, has begun flat-hunting in Chelsea. This follows the collapse of her brief marriage to Tim Scott, co-founder of the Fluid juice bars. "Natasha is looking for a two-bedroom place near Chelsea Harbour, where her parents live," reports a local agent. "She has recently been living in Los Angeles." Natasha's budget? Up to £500,000.

Hollywood siren Vivien Leigh owned a swanky penthouse in Eaton Square, where she entertained the 1950s in-crowd. Now this three-bedroom, tworeception-room lateral conversion is for sale at £1.75 million through John D Wood. "It has been redesigned in a spectacular contemporary style," say the agents. The blue plaque outside should ensure that this stylish address will always be a talking point.
