Beyoncé releases cryptic teaser trailer for HBO ‘project’ Lemonade
Beyoncé has premiered a brand new trailer for her forthcoming HBO ‘project’ Lemonade.
The pop superstar, who released the video for Formation back in February, shared the preview clip on Sunday night.
Described only as a ‘world premiere event’, the one-minute teaser features short clips of the star in various different outfits.
In the video, she says: “What are you hiding? Why can't you see me? You are the love of my life.”
While the singer is staying tight-lipped about what the mystery TV event will be, fans were quick to speculate.
A number of the star’s supporters seemed to think that the HBO event – which will air on April 23 – will be an ‘album film’.
Others thought that it could be a brand new documentary about the star, while some thought that it could be linked to her new activewear range Ivy Park.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “What is Lemonade? Is Lemonade an album? Is Lemonade a single? Could Lemonade be Beyoncé's "Thriller" esque moment?”
Another wrote: “Wait, wait, wait, is @Beyonce giving out free #LEMONADE ? what is happening? DO I GET A REFRESHING BEVERAGE OR NOT?”
Beyoncé’s Lemonade will air on HBO on April 23.
