There's a ghostly presence, too, in the work of Simon Dybbroe Møller. A coffee cup has been tipped on to a newspaper, where the apparent stain delineates the grinning face of Lee Harvey Oswald. The pristine, machine-made aesthetic of the Modernist project is shabby and clearly man-made. Using materials such as Formica and Perspex, the work suggests the failed vision of a brave new world.
